Hi

About Me

"Fail fast, learn faster."

I have been obsessed with technology since helping build my first computer in the 5th grade. Throughout junior high and high school I was constantly tinkering with computers and servers. My enthusiasm for technology has only matured over the years and I still am constantly tinkering. From circuit boards to programming; graphic design to 3D printing, my curiousity knows no limits.

I love learning and problem solving. As a jack of all trades, I am a highly adaptive troubleshooter and I never pass up an experience to dive into something new. I enjoy applying what I know to learn how things work and make them work better.

"Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones." - Marcus Aurelius

Modesto View Magazine - BrewView Writer, March 2015 - Present

Modesto View
After winning a short essay competition for free tickets to a brew fest, with the added caveat that I take pictures and write an article, I was asked if I would continue writing about local alcohol events. As a home brewer myself, I jumped at the idea to get behind the scenes industry access. With my co-writer, Brandi, we cover the gamut of alcohol and related events in the Stanislaus area.

Platelet Donor - 10+ Gallon Donor
Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person — the gift of life. A decision to donate your blood can save a life, or even several if your blood is separated into its components — red cells, platelets and plasma — which can be used individually for patients with specific conditions. - WHO

I began donating blood as soon as I could get myself to a blood bank, and switched to a platelet and plasma donor soon after. It's the easiest way to give back to the community.
